Private health facilities in the country have received Sh110 million as loans from the Kenya Medical and Education Trust in partnership with Medical Credit Finance (MCF). So far, 157 facilities have received loans, the organization's lead quality advisor Lester Chawiyah said during
a five-day training of private health managers drawn from Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay.
Bomet among other counties, KMET lead quality adviser Lester Chawiyah said that 157 facilities have since benefited from the programme. The money is given to help the facilities buy equipment and refurbish those they have.
