Angola Reaffirms Importance of Oil Reserves in Africa

Angolan minister of  Oil, José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos, highlighted on Tuesday in Libreville (Gabon) the importance to the global energy sector take account of oil and gas reserves exist in Africa, in view of the balanced growth of this branch of the global economy.

The Cabinet  minister, who was speaking to ANGOP on the sidelines of the 5th African Congress and Exhibition of Oil, an event that takes place in the capital of Gabon from 26 to 28 this month, stressed that Africa is a continent with oil and gas, in many cases, yet to be determined.

This factor considered, José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos, may contribute to the development of the continent and the world energy growth.
