Honda Brio India made arrives in South Africa

Honda launched the much awaited Brio Amaze sedan in Thailand earlier yesterday with a starting price of 455,000 THB (INR 8.19 lakhs). But in India, where the car that gave shape to Honda’s new Amaze sedan, Brio, is being manufactured at a facility in Greater Noida.

Last month, Honda Cars India shipped the first batch of made in India Brio hatchback’s to South Africa.

Tanzania Tourist Board signs MoU with Ethiopian Airlines

ARUSHA -  The Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) and Ethiopian Airlines (ET) signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last week to promote Tanzania tourism worldwide in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines. The MoU was signed with the intention to increase the number of visitors to both Tanzania and Ethiopia, increase the presence of Tanzania tourism in key international markets, as well as enhance the business profile of Ethiopian Airlines.

Serengeti airport: Tanzanian govt wins the day

The protracted battle over construction of an international airport next to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, pitting the government against environmentalists, is nearly over — and the government seems to have carried the day.

Plans for the construction of the $350 million facility, expected to start early next year, are complete, and the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority has approved the project.

African Player of the Year – CAF Announces Top Three

The confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the top three candidates for this year’s African player of the year.

Reigning footballer of the year, Cote d’Ivoire and Manchester city midfielder Yaya Toure is joined by fellow Ivorian and national team captain, Didier Drogba and the Cameroonian midfielder Alexander Song.
