Ghana launches newly constructed Amaris Terminal

Ghana has commissioned a new ultramodern export terminal known as the Amaris Terminal. The new terminal is a Public Private Partnership (PPP). It involves Jospong Group of Companies and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority.
Major railway in Ethiopia 98 per cent complete

The construction of a major railway in Ethiopia is about to be completed the The Ethiopian Railways Corporation has confirmed. The US$ 3.4bn Sebeta – Meiso- Dewele railway line is at 98 per cent.
Construction of roads in Rwandan town nears completion
In an effort to streamline the transport sector in Rwanda the construction of the major roads in Rwandan town of Musanze are on top gear and nearing completion.
The project construction which was divided into phases saw the construction of phase one include the construction of 15 km road and covers part of the stretch from Musanze town to the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College at Nyakinama and other roads around town.
Salini Impregilo to Construct Dam in Omo River

Salini Impregilo, has been awarded a 2.5 billion pound project by Ethiopian Electric Power to build a hydroelectric power dam which will have an installed capacity of 2,200MW.
The new Koysha Hydropower Dam on the Omo River will generate an estimated 6.4 million MWH of electricity annually.
