Kenya: Meru to construct 120 km of road in the planned annuity roads program
Governor of Meru Peter Munya has said this week that the county will benefit from the planned governments’ annuity roads construction program by building 120km of roads, after talks with the national government bore fruit.

Kenya: CEMTECH to set up a new cement factory in Pokot
A US$ 131m cement factory is set to be constructed in Ortum, Pokot after delaying for five years. Cemtech chief executive Rajesh Rawal has said that the company will also generate its own power at the site, 64mw, out of which 50mw will be sold for the national grid.

The Capital Markets and Securities Authority (CMSA) of Tanzania has recently approved the Watumishi Housing Company Real Estate Investment Trust (WHC-REIT), with an initial founding of TZS 68 billion.
