TANZANIA TO SPEND $6 MILLION TO ACQUIRE LINDI’S LNG TERMINAL LAND
The Tanzanian government has said it plans to spend $6 million in the fiscal year 2015/16 of acquire land for the construction of a liquefied natural gas terminal raising hopes that the land issues that have dogged the project might be past its hurdles.

SEARCH FOR EAST AFRICA’S CRUDE OIL PIPELINE BUILDER TO START IN 6 MONTHS
The search for the builder for the 1300km pipeline running from Uganda’s Hoima region through Lokichar in Turkana all the way to the Kenyan coast will commence in six months according to Ministry of Energy and Petroleum principal secretary Joseph Njoroge.
