Kenya’s paper maker Pan Paper Mill factory will now reopen in mid September, General Manager Y. V Choudray has confirmed. The paper factory located in the western part of Kenya has been facing challenges in acquiring new machinery and upgrading thus pushing back the re-opening date.
Mr Choudray added that the revamped paper mill was undergoing a few tests before being commissioned in September this year.

Largest mall in Lagos set for commissioning

Novare Lekki Mall which is a US$ 92m shopping centre and expected to be the largest mall in Lagos is set to be commissioned, Novare Group the real estate firm behind the mall has announced.
Chairman of Novare group, Professor Fabian Ajogwu SAN confirmed the reports and said the Novare Lekki Mall was initiated by foreign direct investment FDI and funded by a mixture of equity and debt financing.
China Wu Yi to construct housing materials plant in Kenya

A housing materials plant worth US$ 98.7m is set to be constructed in Kenya by a Chinese firm- China Wu Yi and will be completed in June next year.
The new plant will be developed in Athi River and will manufacture precast materials that are expected to be sold to other construction firms in the region.

Kenya’s Two Rivers Mall to be opened next month

Two Rivers Mall in Kenya is projected to be opened next month after additional time was used to expand it following the immense demand it received from other retailers.
The mega mall being developed by Centum was initially supposed to occupy 1.2m square feet of land but has currently been increased to 1.7m space of land.
