Nigerian Breweries to establish Africa’s First Solar Powered Brewery
Nigerian Breweries Plc (NB) are poised to become Nigeria's first solar powered brewery.This is after the company signed a Solar Power Purchase Agreement with CrossBoundary Energy Limited to construct the solar plant at the Ibadan branch of the brewery.

Ethiopia is the 5th major investor in renewable energy in Africa at US $ 100 million, according to the Renewable, Global Status Report, according to Capital. South Africa leads in renewable energy investment followed by Morocco, the second major renewable energy investor at US$ 2 billion.
