Ciments de l’Afrique to construct new cement plant in Ivory Coast

A Moroccan cement giant company- Ciments de l’Afrique (Cimaf) is set to construct a new US$ 22m cement manufacturing plant in Bouake, Côte d’Ivoire; this is according to a statement by the company.

Eni to invest 20 bln euros in Africa in next four years

Italy's Eni plans to invest about 20 billion euros ($22.5 billion) in Africa over the next fours, mostly in oil and gas, the company's Chief Executive Officer Claudio Descalzi said on Friday.

China interested in importing Nigerian oil

China will possibly be importing more oil in from Nigeria owing to efforts towards strengthening ties between the two nations.
The report credited the Chinese interest to their embassys local economic and commercial counsellor Zao LingXiang who is said to have made this declaration.
East Africa: Construction of Uganda - Tanga Port Oil Pipeline Starts August

Construction of the envisaged 4 billion US-dollar (about 8 trillion/-) pipeline to transport crude oil from Kabale in Uganda to Tanga Port is slated to commence in August, pending ongoing discussions between the two governments and investors.
