World Bank to construct mega road along Lake Victoria shores

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has confirmed that a World Bank funded US$ 410m ring road along Lake Victoria shores is set to be constructed.The ring road along Lake Victoria shores is aimed at improving access to the lake shores.
KeNHA Special Projects Manager Kefa Seda said that the new road construction project is designed to measure 450km.
Construction of roads in Rwandan town nears completion
In an effort to streamline the transport sector in Rwanda the construction of the major roads in Rwandan town of Musanze are on top gear and nearing completion.
The project construction which was divided into phases saw the construction of phase one include the construction of 15 km road and covers part of the stretch from Musanze town to the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College at Nyakinama and other roads around town.
