Durban may get tallest building in hemisphere
Durban - Durban will in five years be home to the tallest skyscraper in Africa and in the southern hemisphere. That is if the ambitious proposal for a R6 billion project presented to the city’s economic development and planning committee on Wednesday materialises.
Major port construction project in Namibia on track
Nearly 50 percent of a major port construction project in Namibia has been completed.  Walvis Bay is situated on 40 hectares of reclaimed land. The chief executive officer of Namport, Bisey Uirab confirmed in a media brief held at Walvis Bay.
Construction of major cement plant in Zimbabwe nears completion
A major cement plant in Zimbabwe that was under construction is now nearing completion managing director, Kelibone Masiyane has announced.
Mr Masiyane said that Zimbabwe's largest and oldest cement manufacturer, Pretoria Portland Cement(PPC) in Harare is now more than 50 percent complete.
