South Africa was ranked fifth-best choice for investment by car makers globally, placing behind China, India, Russia and Brazil, according to the latest KPMG global auto executive survey.
Among manufacturers in the Brics bloc of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, South Africa is seen as the third-best investment choice, beating Brazil and Russia.

Honda launched the much awaited Brio Amaze sedan in Thailand earlier yesterday with a starting price of 455,000 THB (INR 8.19 lakhs). But in India, where the car that gave shape to Honda’s new Amaze sedan, Brio, is being manufactured at a facility in Greater Noida.
Last month, Honda Cars India shipped the first batch of made in India Brio hatchback’s to South Africa.
Tanzania Tourist Board signs MoU with Ethiopian Airlines

ARUSHA -  The Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) and Ethiopian Airlines (ET) signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last week to promote Tanzania tourism worldwide in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines. The MoU was signed with the intention to increase the number of visitors to both Tanzania and Ethiopia, increase the presence of Tanzania tourism in key international markets, as well as enhance the business profile of Ethiopian Airlines.
