Rwanda to construct Model Villages in rural communities

The government will pursue a plan to set aside planned settlement sites in different parts of the country and invest in building ‘model villages’ there as part of the latest efforts to modernise rural settlements, officials at the Rwanda Housing Authority (RHA) have said.

The construction of a US$ 30m Pepsi bottling plant dubbed Varun Beverages Ltd has commenced in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Shankar Krishnan confirmed the reports and said that all the machinery and equipment that are required have been ordered and all resources needed for the completion of the plant were in place.
