At a time when struggling Turkish exporters are looking for ways to diversify their target markets, Africa is poised to become the new frontier market for Turkish firms as they position themselves to become major stakeholders in the region’s rapidly growing industries.
Africa has recorded an annual growth rate of 5 percent over the last decade and is expected to continue this trend in the coming years. Six out of ten fastest growing economies in the world are now in Africa. Economic predictions indicate that Africa will be a $29 trillion economy in 2050, larger than the 2012 combined GDP of the US and Eurozone.

BUILDEXPO Africa is the only show with the widest range of the latest technology in construction machinery, building material machines, mining, construction vehicles and construction equipment. Earlier this month Expogroup announced the launch of BUILDEXPO in Rwanda and Ethiopia on the occasion of their 20th anniversary in Africa. The events are scheduled for May 2017 in Ethiopia and July 2017 in Rwanda.

Chandaria Industries to construct US$ 50m toilet paper manufacturing plant

Chandaria Industries is currently planning to construct a US$ 50m toilet paper manufacturing plant in a move to double its monthly output for toilet rolls and tissue products.
The initiative came to birth after the family owned company acquired 29 acres of land at Tatu Industrial Park, where the new factory will be constructed.

Hilton Worldwide to construct a hotel in Nigerian capital Lagos

Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a management agreement with a Nigerian firm, Quality Inspection & Testing Services Limited (QUITS), to open a 350-guestroom and suite hotel in Nigerian capital Lagos.
The hotel will be constructed at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
