Vestas has supplied 365 wind turbines that will see Kenya’s Lake Turkana Wind Power Project (LTWP) give off 310 megawatts. The order becomes the largest single order for the company.

Kenya: ABB wins US$ 24m contract to upgrade Juja power substation

Zurich-based ABB Power Company has been awarded a US$ 24m contract by Kenya Power Lighting Co. to upgrade the 50-year-old Juja substation in a bid to increase the grid stability and avoid blackouts.
